POOLER, Ga. — After round one of the Georgia Senior Four-Ball Championship, two teams share the lead at 8-under-par 64 - James Kiely/Frank Remmes and Jack Hall/Doug Hanzel.
The 24th playing of this competition is taking place at both Savannah Quarters Country Club in Pooler and Wilmington Island Club in Savannah, November 11-13.
The leaders and those competing in the Championship flight are playing at Savannah Quarters Country Club. The Super Senior flight competitors are playing at Wilmington Island Club. That division is led by Bill Evans and Bill Ploeger, and Buzz Alexander and Dick Donegan at 5-under-par 66.
The defending champions, Greg Scurlock and Charlie Wall, Sr., posted an even-par 72 and are tied for 26th after their opening round.
