courses,
muni or
private. An enjoyable walk, quality shot
values,
and good people make all the difference.
I've
never
won a major amateur
event, or qualified for a USGA
championship. But I have won club
championships on both coasts - three in
California and
one in my home state of Connecticut.

The most recent was at El Camino CC,
7th hole (wedge), Dec 22, 2012. Prior to
that it was 2004 at the Meadow Club, 8th
hole (6-iron). The other three were
Stevinson Ranch No. 12, Sequoyah CC No.
5, and my first one at Gleneagles in San
Francisco, the 4th hole with a 3-iron!
