BERKELEY, CALIF. (Aug. 6, 2011) -- Perennial contender and 7-time past champion Randy Haag is atop the leaderboard with a -2, 68.
Drew Bender, Chris Moreno-Hunt and Rion Noone are all 1 stroke behind with socres of 69.
Haag, the reigning Senior British Open low amateur had 3 birdies and one bogey.
The Senior division is lead by Mark W. Miller with +3, 73, followed by Peter Moren at 75.
Miller is the reigning Norcal Player of the Year.
Matt Romig leads the Net division with 69, -1 and is followed by Gene House at 70
The Ladies division is lead by Jennifer Brumbaugh with a score of 82.
Brittany Edwards sits in second place at 84.
Dense fog did not clear until after 10:30 with the vast majority of players well into their round.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
The 2011 Bay Regional will again be contested
at 36 holes, with no cut. All players play one
round Saturday and the final round on Sunday.
The entry fee has been reduced and we
expect an extra-strong field this year in this

began running in 2006.
