It has been a huge month for the talented young Swedish prospects in professional golf.
First, Ludvig Aberg broke out and won his first professional tournament at the 2023 Omega European Masters, and then, the next day, was named to the 2023 European Ryder Cup team.

Norrman, nicknamed The Candy Man because he worked in a candy shop in Sweden when he was younger, has now won the 2023 Irish Open at 14-under after a final round 7-under 65.
Norrman shot rounds of 68-71-70-65 to win the Open and win by one shot over Hurly Long.
Earlier in the year, Norrman earned his first PGA Tour win after he won the 2023 Barbasol Championship at 22-under in a playoff against Nathan Kimsey. This event was co-sanctioned by the European Tour.
Norrman shot rounds of 66-67-67-66 to get to 22-under and get into the playoff with Kimsey. He defeated Kimsey on the first playoff hole.
Norrman had an interesting journey to professional golf, and some would call him a late bloomer.
Norrman started his collegiate golf at Georgia Southwestern State from 2016-2020 and then transferred to Florida State for his final season in 2021.
Norrman was named to the 2021 Golfweek Second-Team All-American, 2021 PING Second-Team All-American, and made the All-ACC Team in his first season with the Seminoles in 2021 and was named to the 2021 PING Southeast All-Region Team.
Norrman played at Georgia Southwestern from 2016-20, earning seven tournament wins. He had a remarkable senior year in 2019-20, being named the Peach Belt Conference Men’s Golf Player of the Year and setting a PBC single-season record with a 69.10 stroke average, the first time anyone has averaged below 70 in league history.
Norrman won five of his seven tournaments played as a senior and finished 38-0 vs. the NCAA Division II Top 100 in 2019-20. He earned a Gold Medal at the 2019 European Amateur Team Championship for Sweden.
